Transparency is the offer, not a nice-to-have.
My wife used to work for one of the companies that partners with hotels and condos. The model was a 15-minute session for $450, pick ten photographs, then pay again for the video, then pay again for anything else. Guests found out the real number after the session, not before.
Plenty of hotel photographers are genuinely talented — that is not the complaint. The complaint is that a photo session is already a real investment for most families, and finding out at the end that the number has doubled is not fair. So everything is on this page, and there is nothing waiting behind the gallery.

The one most people book. Forty-five minutes is the difference between rushing a family with young kids and letting them warm up — and it leaves room for individual portraits of each child alongside the group shots.

Multiple backdrops and a complete storytelling experience.
An hour buys you more than more frames — it buys a second and third backdrop, an outfit change if you want one, and time for the light to actually turn over.

Priced above a standard session because the photography is the last half hour of a much longer job — scouting, planning calls, and texting through the day. Every tier includes three to five finished sneak peeks the same night.

Elopements
The Maui Elopement Collection
From $1,200per hour
Every elopement is different — thirty minutes on a quiet beach and a half-day with a handful of your favourite people are not the same job. So I get on a call first, work out what the day actually looks like, and quote it from there.
Photo and video can be covered together by a team that has already worked together.

Every photo is edited before you choose
I edit two to three times your package number — a 45-minute session means 100 to 200 finished images to choose 50 from. You are never picking from raw files and hoping.

Extra images, and the way around paying for them
Beyond your package it is $35 an image or $200 to unlock the whole gallery. Or leave a couple of honest reviews and I unlock it for free — about nine in ten people take that option.

A 50% deposit holds the date
Non-refundable on an outright cancellation, because the slot comes off the calendar and other enquiries get turned away. Rescheduling into an open slot costs nothing and happens regularly.

Your gallery lands in 2–3 weeks
I am working to shorten that to one or two weeks and will change the number here when it is genuinely true, not before. You get a text and an email when it is ready.

Longer and custom sessions exist
They are just not listed. A 90-minute family-reunion session was built recently, and multi-location adventure sessions have run in the past. Message with what you want.

Kamaaina and fire families
Locals get a discount. If you lost your home in the Lahaina or Upcountry wildfires, the session is free — no package, no charge, and I will refuse the tip.

Pricing questions
No. The package price covers the session and the finished images in your package. Extra images beyond that are $35 each or $200 for the whole gallery, and leaving me a couple of honest reviews unlocks the whole gallery for free instead.
